My Story
Hi, my name is Kathleen Manning and this is my story on how I became a Marketing and Business Coach. My mission in life is to empower female entrepreneurs to create successful, thriving businesses by providing smart, strategic and solution-focused branding, marketing and coaching programs. I love things that sparkle and I believe every woman should sparkle in her own way…oh what a beautiful world it would be!
I was living and working in NYC, for about 15 years, when I finally met my husband. When we met, I was already in my mid 30s. It was like ahhhh, there he is! After we got married, we relocated to the burbs of Boston and I ended up stepping out of work after my second daughter was born. Talk about a total life change! I think I was in shock for a good portion of the first year of my second daughter’s life. I wasn’t working, I was a mom of two girls age 2 and under and I was living in the burbs.
As a life-long corporate career woman, I can safely say, I didn’t even recognize myself! Seriously, I would look in the mirror and wonder who the person staring back at me was.

I Found My Calling
Don’t get me wrong, it is an absolute joy and such a privilege to stay home with my girls. Truth be told, I wanted more. I NEEDED more. Anyone else feel that way? I wanted to be with my family and have the flexibility that I needed. I also wanted to feel like myself and have goals and dreams and accomplishments that I could be proud of, that were different from the joy of making it through the night without anyone waking up! Which by the way, is something to celebrate when you have small children!
I realized I couldn’t be the only successful, driven woman out there looking for more. And then something funny happened. I began to notice. I saw so many smart, talented and ambitious women working so hard to create that flexible laptop lifestyle. I was inspired. I also began to notice women who clearly are super talented and have so much to offer the world but lack the confidence, support or know-how to get started. In my heart I knew I could help these women grow their businesses or even launch them! I had found my calling.
So I set out to get the tools I needed in addition to the 15+ years of experience I have in marketing and branding. I will tell you, what an amazing journey it has been so far! There is no greater feeling than supporting another woman and watching her grow and flourish. I am so grateful for this job and for the opportunities that have been presented to me.

My Experience
I have over 15 years of research, marketing and branding experience working with HUGE brands like Madison Square Garden, Radio City Entertainment and the Rockettes, The History Channel, The City of New York, The White House, The Coca-Cola Company, Stouffers and many more.
Over the course of my career I’ve built large marketing campaigns,crafted strategic promotions, produced wide scale events, developed digital strategy, created collaborative partnerships, and secured millions in sponsorship dollars. In addition, I’ve worked in the non-profit world and understand how to get things done on small budgets.
I am a certified Business Coach from the IFC Accredited – World Coach Institute. I have helped women just like you create their personal brands, grow their business and live a life they love!
