ways to make yourself high vibe

This weekend I ran into a friend at the grocery store and naturally we ended up talking about clothes. She complimented my wedge sneakers and I told her they were from Payless and she was shocked! That happens a lot with those shoes.

She suggested that I share on my blog some of my finds for cute clothes that moms on a budget would love.

Because let’s be honest, we all want to look stylish and put together but having the cash to do it isn’t always possible. Unless you know where to shop and score the deals!

While I considered doing this and might still throw this into the mix, (because why not be a multi passionate entrepreneur) I thought, well we all know I am obsessed with clothes.

But there are lots of things on my “can’t live without list”. Many of them are newer to me finds too.

So I was thinking if they are new to me then maybe they might be new to you too!

I thought it would be fun to share them with you all today. These are the things I use in my daily life that help me feel good and look good!

I believe if you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you are more driven to feed your passions and live a fuller life. That’s when the magic happens.

That’s the sweet spot we all want…..

Our high vibe: A sense of confidence, clarity and joy that comes from living our lives to the fullest potential.”

Now obviously a handful of products aren’t going to magically change your life and make you high vibe, but they might help improve your day in some small way.

Small changes can make a huge impact on your outlook and mindset!

This post is not sponsored in anyway. It’s just me talking about things I use and love! They make me feel good and I want to share the love.

So here we go.

My high vibe obsessions are:

A glimpse of yourself when you look refreshed can totally energize you!

Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer. This is a new obsession, but I seriously can’t get enough. It’s a little bit of magic in a tube and just helps reduce my dark circles and brightens my face. LOVE anything that doesn’t make me look like an almost 42 year old mom who needs to sleep more. I feel more awake when I look in the mirror and see a brighter reflection staring back at me.

Honestly, when you look awake, you kind of take on that role. Even if I am tired, I feel oddly energized by the more refreshed face looking back at me. It’s like a little trick I play on myself!

For reference, I use the color light sand.

Anything that makes you feel sexy, confident and stylish all in one is a must have.

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. Legit wearing these 2-3 times a week. I can’t get enough. I love how they fit, how they feel and how they can be dressed up or dressed down. Most of all, I love how I feel in them.

High Vibe to the fullest!! These bad boys are worth every single penny. Although I will say, they do go on sale once in a while, so wait for a sale and snag them then! You won’t regret this choice.

For sizing I wear a size small petite.

This little spray can will stop you from saying to your bestie over coffee, I look like a hot mess.

L’Oreal Magic Root Cover Up. This product has saved me more than once! I have gray hair. Like a lot of it, and it started in my early 20’s. It’s one of the biggest reasons I went blonde. Just an easier way to camouflage the gray when it starts to grow in.

This little spray is fantastic for covering the gray or hair growth that happens and helps me go a little bit longer between colorings. Yes, even with blonde highlights it works! So if you have an event or just can’t get to the salon, invest in this spray. It’s not expensive and sold at drug stores and grocery stores and of course our favorite place, Target!

I use the medium blonde color.

There is nothing better than having good, healthy and filling choices available to fuel your body!

Qorn Chik’n Patties. These are my go to lunch. I love them because I can literally pop them in the microwave and a minute and 20 seconds later they are ready! I eat them over salads, by themselves or as a sandwich. As a busy mom trying to get a million things done daily, having these stocked up in the kitchen is a life saver. For my local girls, you can grab them at Stop n Shop!

Feeling strong and comfortable in your own skin is a game changer for anyone wanting to get high vibe!

Sagi. Huh? Well, Sagi is a man. He is a body builder who created The Body Beast weight training program that I am obsessed with. It is distributed through Beach Body but you can buy the workout on Amazon if you prefer. He is definitely a “dude” but he has helped me shape and change my body and my mind. I spend 30-40 mins a day with him in my basement gym and it’s one of the best relationships I have! LOL. But in all seriousness his workout is motivating and effective.

Learning new things can be invigorating and spark joy for you in ways you never knew possible!

Instagram Stories. Ok, so if you can’t find me I am probably hiding somewhere in my house watching Instagram Stories. For me, its like Reality TV amplified. I love watching people I don’t know, talk about things that may or may not relate to me. No joke. I seriously watch it all.

I am mainly obsessed with fashion stories but I will watch moms talking about their kids, women on major weightless journeys and cooking stories. And of course, let’s not forget celebs. Although they are lowest on my watch list, I just kind of love seeing how other people live. And I will say, I have learned a ton of interesting things from other people! In fact, many of my newest obsessions have come from what people share on stories!

SIDE NOTE: For those of you with a business, you absolutely need to be using stories to promote your brand! Not only can you let people see more of who you are and showcase your personal brand, being active with stories absolutely helps with your visibility in peoples news feeds. Get on there and start talking!!

If you are looking for cute clothes with good price tags, being shown by cool chicks who are totally relatable, follow these girls!

Fashion Bloggers. Basically, kind of like my relationship with Sagi…I have several fashion bloggers I am obsessed with that I can’t live without. Seriously, I watch their Instagram stories daily and read every blog they write. I feel like they are my friends and on days when I am feeling a little lonely I will watch their stories and it feels like I am talking to a friend. Not sure if that is sad or not, but it’s the truth! haha.

Randomly, this is the perfect bit of self-care!

90 Day Fiance. Guilty Pleasure right here. I never miss a show. I love watching the dynamic between people and cultures coming together and how it all plays out. It’s so bad it’s good! I am noticing a theme here in that I like to watch how other people behave and interact. It must be the marketing/coach in me. I am drawn to what makes people tick. I love it!

Maybe though it’s that I love that it’s on Sunday nights after the kids are in bed. It’s my moment to sit and relax and decompress and gear up for the week ahead. Plus it’s a bit mindless so I don’t have to think to hard or solve anyone’s problems.

Best mom style hack ever!!

Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish. I used to get my nails done every week without fail when I lived in NYC and pre-kids. I kept it up weekly and then biweekly once gel was introduced. Then shortly after my second daughter was born I kind of stopped. It just got super hard to find the time and justify the expense of getting it done so often.

I will say though, it didn’t feel good or natural to me. In fact, every time I looked at my nails it made me feel bad. You see, I am a girl who likes to feel put together and well in my opinion painted nails are like the icing on the cake for any fashionista. It’s a must have!

So my girlfriend introduced me to Essie Gel Couture. It’s gel nail polish that gives a salon finish and comes off with regular acetone nail polish remover. It dries super fast so you can literally do your nails before bed and still have them looking good when you wake up! Obsessed!

A few minutes a week of a luxury self care moment go a long way to feeling good!

No 7 Total Renewal Microdermabrasion Exfoliator. This scrub was introduced to me by one of my favorite fashion bloggers @thesisterstudioIG. I absolutely LOVE it. I wash my face with it 3x a week and it just leaves my skin feeling brighter and smoother.

It’s an immediate result and I have noticed my face looking less “aged” daily since I started using this product. It also doesn’t irritate my skin like other scrubs. It’s an affordable price point and can be found at Target or Ulta.

So there you have it. These are the things I use in my everyday life to help me look good and feel good!

Not every day is a homerun and I still have more than my share of hot mess mom moments. The way I see it though, if you are going to be a hot mess mom at times, you might as well look and feel “hot”!

And remember ladies, you’re not fully dressed until you sparkle!
